Mayo Clinic hires former London General Practice director

Richard Pisarski has been appointed as head of business development at the Mayo Clinic in London.

Pisarski, who has more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare in both private and public sectors, and in primary and secondary care, joins from the London General Practice (LGP) where he served as its managing director since joining in November 2016.

He has also worked for UK Specialist Hospitals, Care UK and the NHS.

‘This year, more than any, has been difficult for businesses of all sizes and in all markets,’ Pisarski said. ‘Thinking back to just under a year ago the future looked very uncertain, however, thanks to the exceptional team at LGP and their ability to react quickly to the changing environment, the practice succeeded through Covid growing through the course of the year.

‘Companies and organisations are collections of individuals and it is those individuals who together breed success, so it is with all honesty that I can say they are all a truly brilliant team to work with at LGP.’

Last month, Elaine Spence was appointed by Mayo Clinic as operations director of its London facility.
