Celebrating Barbados medical travel

Barbados medical travel

Barbadian Prime Minister, Mia Mottley, has praised the Barbados Fertility Centre (BFC) for its contribution to Barbados’ medical tourism at a ceremony to mark the clinic’s 20th anniversary. She recognised its international JCI accreditation and said that her Government looked forward to working with the centre on expansion ideas to offer other types of medical services, to attract more medical travellers to the island.

The BFC is the only IVF clinic in the Caribbean to have JCI accreditation. The clinic claims to have a track record of offering ‘a commendable IVF success rate’ to patients who travel to Barbados for treatment.

BFC has a satellite clinic in Trinidad and a full IVF clinic in the Cayman Islands. 90% of the clinic’s patients are non-Barbadians.
