Enterprise Greece and the Greek Health Tourism Council, Elitour are joining forces to promote Greece as a tourism destination that offers medical, health and wellness services.
Enterprise Greece is a state-run agency responsible for the implementation of the country’s strategy for the promotion of exports and investments. Elitour is an Athens-based non-governmental organisation promoting health tourism in Greece.
Greece has an adequate infrastructure in the health and tourism sectors. Elitour will act as an intermediate partner looking to network Greek and foreign organisations. The development of health tourism in Greece will attract investments, which will contribute in the medium term to the efforts to maintain a good level of health services for citizens and visitors.
Greece is launching its new national brand this year on occasion of the 200-year anniversary of the 1821 Greek Revolution aiming to attract visitors with its high quality tourism products. Details are awaited.
