Ethiopian Airlines has agreed a medical partnership with TravoCure Healthcare, the medical travel division and subsidiary of the Akbar Group in India, to offer services for passengers travelling from Africa to India for medical reasons.
Both parties will conduct joint promotional activities to highlight India as a medical tourism destination, with modern medical technologies at internationally accredited hospitals and clinics.
Akbar Travels’ main focus through TravoCure Healthcare is to offer support services in medical and wellness travel to patients anywhere in the world through their network of 200 offices across India, including those at airport counters.
In the collaboration with Ethiopian Airlines, passengers travelling to India from Africa for medical reasons receive discounts for medical treatment through the Akbar Travels Group.
