The Polish Tourism Organisation (POT) is this year focusing on promoting Poland as a key destination for specialist medical treatment and spa beauty treatment.
Health tourism, with particular emphasis on wellness and spa tourism, is recognised as one of the priority areas in Poland’s Tourism Development Plan 2020. The focus is on the demands of the target group of consumers interested in wellness and spa tourism and on strengthened cooperation between the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Ministry of Health, as well as regional and local government entities and the tourism sector organisations.
