To cash in on the growing demand from Bangladesh’s rising middle-income citizens, some hospitals from India, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia have either opened liaison offices or attracted clients through agents in Bangladesh.
According to exhibition organiser, Savor International, there are some countries that largely depend on Bangladesh for medical tourists, and other countries want to expand their business in Bangladesh for medical tourism.
Savor has announced they will be arranging an exhibition on medical tourism in Dhaka later this year. Their aim is to create the largest event in the country that brings international medical tourism specialists into direct contact with potential Bangladeshi patients.
The Bangladesh International Medical Tourism Expo 2021 (BIMTEX) will be held between 28-30 October at the International Convention City Bashundhara.
