The London Doctors Clinic to open new centre

Central London private acute hospital market stalls

Private GP practice the London Doctors Clinic (LDC) will be opening a new clinic in Wandsworth in June.

Wandsworth Medical will be offering LDC services such as same day appointments, prescriptions, sick notes, medicals, private referrals and more under LDC’s brand via a license agreement. This move follows LDC’s previous expansion in Marylebone earlier this month.

David Mezher, chief executive officer at LDC said he hopes to attract local people in the Wandsworth area who need to access convenient GP appointments: ‘Our patient type is always variable, but what they have in common is that they need fast, accessible GP care and we’re fortunate to be a in a position to be able to offer that.’

Mezher went onto say that this new clinic is part of LDC’s ongoing expansion plans both in and outside of London.

LDC was founded in 2014 and currently has 14 clinics operating in central London and one in Orpington, Kent. Its doctors are registered with the General Medical Council and are available to book through its online booking system.
