CzechTourism has taken Czech medical and spa tourism partners to Saudi Arabia, to promote the country’s spa and wellness products and raise the profile of airline connectivity between the two countries. The road show went to Riyadh, Jeddah and Al-Khobar.
Travel from Saudi Arabia to the Czech Republic has seen a surge in 2021 and there has been a gradual increase in the length of stay to 7-8 days.
CzechTourism believes that an increasing number of travellers from the Kingdom, and from the wider Middle East, are aware that the Czech Republic is a popular destination for medical tourism as well as for spa treatment. The tourism authority is promoting the country to the GCC as a premium destination.
