To encourage domestic medical travel in the US, the Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) has announced that January 2022 is Medical Travel Month.
Serving more than 4,000 members, the SHSMD is a professional membership group within the American Hospital Association.
As the largest membership association in its sector, SHSMD helps its members stay at the forefront of health care’s rapidly evolving landscape while expanding its members’ knowledge and network to create value for the organisations and communities they serve.
The society has launched a 2022 Calendar of Health Observances & Recognition Days, available as an eBook/downloadable PDF, which includes active links to organisation websites and email addresses. It is free to members but costs USD 35 for anyone else. January 2022 is Medical Travel Month. There is new content for each day.
