UAE opens first 5-star wellness retreat

Zoya Health and Wellbeing Resort, the Middle East’s first five-star wellness retreat has opened in Al Zorah, Ajman.

Located within Al Zorah, and overlooking the community’s golf course and mangroves, the 61-room accommodation is owned by Saudi entrepreneur Ameer Said.

The property is operated by Premedion, a spa consultancy and management company based in Germany, with experience of managing high-end spas and health centres worldwide in countries including Egypt, Oman, China and Qatar.

A range of treatments are offered based on detoxing and therapeutic fasting, combined with physiotherapy, aesthetic medicine, and nutrition to boost vitality.  Tailored treatment programmes are based on holistic and ‘unique’ medical approaches to prevent chronic illnesses, and cover ‘well-cation’, immune support, detox, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, weight management, liver support, rejuvenation, get fit and anti-aging.

The tailored programmes vary from three to fourteen nights and involve guidance from medical and health professionals including the venue’s doctors, wellness specialists and nutritionists. Assessments include a doctor’s consultation, diagnostic tests, a wellness consultation and a nutrition plan.
